Our Children’s Ministry exists to introduce children to the person of Jesus, inviting them to make him their Savior and Lord, and to walk with them on the journey of spiritual growth and discipline. On Sunday mornings, kids will experience creative and engaging Bible teaching that leads them to discover the wonderful truths of God. Through play and games they will practice applying the truths they learn. In Kids Cove, we find love and friendship through relationships built on the word of God.
Nursery will be available for all newborn’s-age 3. If you don’t think your 3 year old is ready for a large group yet, you are more than welcome to keep them in the nursery and transition them whenever you feel ready!
Kids Cove Worship
All Preschool-2nd Grade Students will begin in service with their families. Then they will be dismissed for a Worship Service in The Rock designed specifically for them. We will have high energy worship, interactive bible lessons inline with what is being taught in the main service, healthy snacks and fun games! This will be a large group setting but all age groups will have Cove Crew Members with them!
Building Healthy Families
Our 3rd-5th grade students are encouraged to participate in Worship with their families in the Sanctuary. We will have a Kids Cove Basket in the Foyer with Sermon Notes just for them and a fun pen to take notes with. Make sure your kiddos grab these as they come into the sanctuary and use them to further breakdown the message through out the week! Help remind them to return their pens at the end of the service so we can use them each week!
Kids Cove Connection Groups

Preschool Pier - 3 year old - VPK
The Gospel Project for Preschool takes preschoolers on a chronological journey through God’s big story—the story of redemption weaved through Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation. When preschoolers truly experience the gospel they are forever changed. It is the gospel, not good behavior, that transforms hearts. The gospel changes everything! This semester we will be picking up where we left off at the end of Genesis and studying through Leviticus!
The Reef - Kindergarten -2nd Grade
Wave Makers - 3rd-5th Grade
The Gospel Project takes kids on a Christ-centered, chronological journey through Scripture. Kids will discover how the gospel unfolds from Genesis through Revelation with hand on experiments, skits, and attention grabbing lessons! When kids truly experience the gospel, their hearts are transformed! The Gospel Project for Kids: Volume 2 Out of Egypt helps kids discover God’s amazing provision and protection. God used Joseph to provide for the Israelites, setting the stage for a glorious demonstration of God’s power to deliver. God raised up Moses to rescue His people from bondage in Egypt. He saved them from physical captivity like He would one day save His people from spiritual captivity by sending Jesus, a Deliverer greater than Moses. As the people of Israel traveled toward the promised land, God made a covenant with them and instructed them how to live holy lives in an unholy world. God also gave them rules for worship. God’s law sustained their relationship with God until His perfect plan was revealed through Jesus Christ. Sessions include Bible stories from Genesis, Exodus, and Leviticus.
**All Kids Cove Connection Groups will be overseen by Lindsey Peek and facilitated by approved Cove Crew Leaders**
In September, Lindsey will be kicking off a few new programs for our elementary kids! "Let's Have Lunch" and "Fan in the Stands". Let's Have Lunch will be a program that allows her to connect with your kiddos in their school environments! Once added to the school's approved list, she will be coming once a month to have lunch with any of our Faith kids at their various schools! Fan in the Stands is another way she is trying to get involved with families outside of church. Parents will be able to submit their kids sport/extra curricular activity schedules and Lindsey will come be a Fan in the Stands at games, recitals, art shows etc! Be on the look out for more info on both of these exciting new programs!
If you would like any more information about above dates or programs, contact Lindsey.
