Habits of Faith

From August through October, Pastor Dillon will be doing a series entitled Habits of Faith. Each week, we’ll look at a spiritual practice that shapes us into the people God created us to be. For the final Sunday of the series, you get to determine the topics of discussion! In the weeks ahead, text any questions related to the series to 727-232-4322 and on October 20 Pastor Dillon will address as many questions as possible.

The Disciple-Making Institute

This fall Faith Church is launching an exciting new ministry called the Disciple-Making Institute. The Institute is an ongoing series of small group fellowships, actionable seminars, and hands-on workshops united by the common goal of equipping people of all ages to love Christ with their whole hearts, think Christianly about the world and everything in it, and live faithfully by displaying the beautiful
truth of the gospel in every sphere of life. See the Disciple-Making Institute page for a full list of events scheduled this fall.

Summer Share

Join us Sunday, August 25 at 5:00pm for Summer Share, a night dedicated to stories from this year’s mission trips and camps. We will hear from our Honduras team, several missionaries, and our students. An alphabet potluck dinner (chicken provided at $2 a person) will precede the presentation. Sign up by calling the church office at 727-391-0596, ext 103.

Pub Chats

In a church of several hundred, it can be challenging to get to know the Lead Pastor. Break the ice at a Pub Chat. A throwback to Pastor Dillon’s years in New Zealand (where the local pub is the place for fellowship), these informal gatherings of six to ten people are designed for old-fashioned conversation. Our next meeting will be held
at Arkane Aleworks on August 29 at 7:00pm. Pub Chats is one of our most popular events; registration fills up quickly, so don’t delay! Sign up today.

Does God care about our bodies? How can parents model healthful habits in the home? Should Christian families play sports? If so, how do we balance athletic performance and church attendance? Join us Wednesday, September 4, from 6:30-7:30pm in the Sanctuary as Pastor Dillon Thornton walks us through the answers to these questions. Children and youth activities will be provided. Register Today!

Church Campus Beautification Day

Yes, you read that right! FINALLY the day you have all been waiting for! You've probably been praying for an opportunity to serve the church and to display your God given skills of transcendent yard-workery. If you haven't, well then, someone very special must have been praying for you. On Saturday, September 7, from 8:30 - Noon we will gather together as a church body and do some work to make our campus that we are blessed to have as beautiful as it deserves to be. No need to register, just show up, check-in and you'll be assigned to a crew.
