Politics and the Christian Faith: Is America a Christian nation? Should Christians be in politics? What is America ’s church state problem? Can politics save America ? This is a four-week class that will watch a short video by Chuck Colson and then discuss. The video is neither ‘religious right’ nor ‘religious left’ but balanced, clear and biblically based. Meet in the Sanctuary on Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm from October 22 through November 12.

Cults in America: Join us on November 19 for a four week series led by Dr. Pat Miller, former president of St Petersburg Seminary. Dr. Miller will be presenting on Scientology, the Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormonism. Many of us have encountered people from one of these three American cults and wonder how we can respond to them. Come learn more about what they believe and the differences to Christianity. Dr. Miller will teach on Wednesdays through 12/17. (No meeting on 11/26 for Thanksgiving.) Bring a friend!

Do you have questions about how to read the bible? Do you have questions about God? Do you need a safe place to ask questions? Join Pastor Matt on Wednesday nights in Faith Center as he leads Basics. Bible 101, Theology 101, and Church History 101 are some of the topics covered in this discussion oriented class. Don’t worry you won’t get called on and all the homework is optional!
