Intro to Voice

Amy Runkle

Amy was born in St. Petersburg, Florida. She grew up going to Faith Church and in fact, was baptized there.

Amy was introduced to music at a very early age. Her parents had their own band in which they traveled around the community playing in restaurants and for special events. They did this for many years. Amy performed with them at times and currently is following in their footsteps; she has been an active member of the Faith Church praise team for many years.

Amy participated in musical theatre at Seminole High School and began dancing at the age of two. She is a teacher at Faith Preschool, having over 15 years of teaching experience.

Amy is married to Todd and they have two daughters, Kyra and Ashlyn.

Description of the Class

Our Intro to Vocals track is designed for students who are interested in developing their vocal skills and exploring the world of singing. Throughout the week, campers will participate in a variety of activities, including group vocal lessons, individual coaching, and rehearsals for a final performance. Our experienced instructors will teach campers how to develop proper breathing techniques, vocal warm-ups, and how to sing in harmony with others. Campers will learn to sing a range of songs and will have the opportunity to perform in front of an audience. By the end of the week, campers will have gained valuable singing skills, increased their self-confidence, and formed new friendships with other young singers.
